Why do I need to use my work email to login?
As we explain here and here, we believe trust and reputation are critical, and the source of advice matters almost as much as the advice itself. We do our best to make sure MyCircle contributors are who they say they are, and using multiple verification methods helps reassure the community that the opinions and recommendations they receive are authentic and honest.
What does it mean to be on the ‘waiting list'?
Although you may have signed up and are now a part of MyCircle, your company may not be yet. We will only allow membership to employees of companies who have been activated. You may have to wait a short time for us to activate your company
How can I change restriction/privacy settings for my posts?
You can simply select or deselect specific Circles that can view and interact with your posts in the Settings menu.
What if I don't want other members to see my name?
You can either select the ‘Anonymous' setting when posting for one specific post, or change your settings in the Settings menu to post anonymously by default. You can also have different layers of anonymity — for example.
How do I change my company?
If you've left your current workplace you can update your information from your Profile page.
Is the MyCircle app available on Android?
Unfortunately, not yet. We are working on getting MyCircle up and running for Android and will be available in the near future.
Can I invite people I know?
Of course! You can invite both friends and colleagues within the MyCircle app. Alternatively, you can send us an email list of the people you'd like to invite to contact@mycircleapp.com and let us handle the rest!
